Welcome to the 1% Better email newsletter. My aim is get and stay fit for life - and I'm stoked you're on the journey with me!

The first order of business is an introduction to my body, mind, spirit mentality. It's a simple idea but it's always the simple ideas that make the biggest difference in your life.

So firstly, you my friend, are MORE than your body. How often do you think about that? Look at your body. Feel your body. Does it hurt? Are you capable? Out of shape? Sick? Strong? Injured? Maybe all the above, ha!

Ok good. Checking in with yourself is important. But regardless of your answer, you have MUCH more to give than your physical body / appearance. You can make huge impact on the world around without being strong, fit, capable. Ask anyone who has gotten severely sick or injured.

But knowing this, you are more than your mind as well. What if I told you that you could make more impact, be sharper, and have more energy than you do now? Get more physically fit. Boom! Being fit physically will increase your quality of life and ability to create, give, and serve your people! What a gift!

And lastly, understand this: you are more than your body and your mind. You are not just an animal. You are a human being. Created on purpose, for a purpose. You have a spirit. This is why you can look at people who are mentally tough and super fit physically, but something is seems missing. It's also the reason why some people can be healthy but in an unhealthy way..(more on that next email)

You are body, mind, and spirit - fully human. It's time to take care of all three so you can become the person you were born to be.

FIT TIP OF THE WEEK: Start a new habit.. TODAY. It doesn't matter if it's as small as a 10 minute walk in the morning or if it's running a mile 5 days a week. Take a small step daily in the RIGHT direction - the direction of a better you.
