All Life Is Spiritual

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - Isaiah 52:7
Writing to you with overwhelming joy and excitement as tomorrow will be Salt x Light’s first ever mission trip! We're headed to Guatemala for 7 days!
God is WILD and He is Good. He is always working and He is closer to us than our next breath!
He organized a group of 12 guys to come alongside the locals to build a house for a family in need, distribute food packages to 500 families, and to worship Him with the local church. It’s going to be a LIFE CHANGING trip.
But with that being said, wherever you are, I want to encourage you with this: our mission field isn't just the Guatemala's of the world.. It's your backyard. It’s your office. It’s your neighborhood.
We naturally tend to think God’s work is feeding the poor in third world countries.. While that IS God’s work, yes of course.. God’s work is also loving your actual neighbor as yourself. It’s grabbing coffee with your buddy who's going through divorce. It's showing hospitality to the weirdo in your friend group. It’s sharing the love of Christ with a coworker by actively listening and empathizing with them.
This, my friend, is ALL God’s work. We are ONE body with ONE Spirit. Praise Jesus that we are all different but we are all connected. We are different parts of His Body. Some are gifted with public speaking and preaching. Others are gifted with an encouraging word. And some are musically gifted (I’m very jealous of you btw..)
My point is this: All life is spiritual. All work is God's work. All of us are One Body in Christ.
You can impact the world and be salt and light right where you're at! You DON’T need to be in a third world country.. You just need eyes to see the people who are hungry and thirsty for the Bread of Life and the Living Water – Jesus Christ the Way, the Truth and the Life!
My ask is this: Pray for us – for safety and impact. For us to be vessels of His powerful grace and radical love. And For God’s will above
all.
Thank you in advance, my friend! I know God will bless you abundantly in the process of lifting us up!
Are you on mission today? Let's go!
Stay Spiritually Fit,
Brian
